25th Annual Buddy Dewar Golf & Skeet Tournament



The two signature 18-hole courses at Mission Inn offer a truly remarkable golf experience—hills that roll and pitch, mature pine and magnolia trees that tower, eagles and ospreys that fly overhead.

The registration fee includes green fees, cart rental, golf course refreshments, range balls, an opportunity for a hole in one “Grand Prize,” lunch buffet and of course lots of networking. The tournament will be best ball foursome, scramble format. Prizes will be awarded for: First Place Foursome, Second Place Foursome, Bazooka Ball Launcher and the ever-popular “Hit the Ball in the Raft!"

Golf will begin with a shotgun start at 9:00 a.m.

Skeet Shooting

If golf is not for you, test your shooting skills at the skeet and trap shooting tournament.

Skeet shooters will meet at Gey Ranch (approximately a 10-minute commute), where they will participate in 2-3 rounds each, including Flurry rounds. Guns will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own gun if you prefer. All targets, shells, ear and eye protection will be provided.

Introducing Our 2019 Champion of the Industry

Jeni Pierce
Fire Marshal, City of Clermont Fire Department

Jeni Pierce currently serves as the Fire Marshal of the City of Clermont Fire Department. In addition to serving the community, Fire Marshal Pierce is actively involved in numerous professional organizations, including the Florida Fire Marshals and Inspectors Association, the Florida Fire Chiefs Association, the International Association of Arson Investigators, the Florida Fire Sprinkler Association, the National Fire Sprinkler Association, and the International Association of Fire Marshals. With over 15 years in the fire service, Jeni’s priority is always fire and life safety. Fire Marshal Pierce recently had her home retrofitted with fire sprinklers and was featured in a nationwide ad by the Home Fire Sprinkler Coalition. Fire Marshal Pierce has been an advocate for her community and has taken many opportunities to travelaround the state and attends side-by-side fire sprinkler demos with the sole purpose of educating our citizens on life safety with fire sprinklers in your home.

She is currently serving as the Education Chair for the Florida Fire Sprinkler Coalition, a joint effort of the Florida Fire Marshals and Inspectors Association, the Florida Fire Chiefs Association, and the Florida Professional Firefighters.

Fire Marshal Pierce oversees the daily operations of the Fire Prevention Division of Clermont Fire Department, which includes the review of plans for fire protection and life safety, fire inspections, fire investigations, and the coordination of community relations and public fire and life safety education.
